TOEFL Improvement and Internationalization
TOEFL Improvement and Internationalization is a work program held by the Education and Student Prosperity Department from May 18th – to 19th 2022. This activity is carried out with the aim of preparing ITS students and general participants for TOEFL purposes. The activity began with a material session presented by Mushin Jalal with material on basic grammar and structure such as simple compound and complex sentences, followed by a question and answer session for 30 minutes and ended with a post-test. This activity was attended by chemical engineering students and outside chemical engineering students.
Social Bracing Project Upgrading II
Social Bracing Project Upgrading II is a work program held by the Social Development Department on May 8th, 2022. SBP Upgrading II is a series of activities oriented toward developing the awareness of ITS HIMATEKK members towards the community environment from a social perspective through upgrading activities followed by post-upgrading activities. This work program aims to develop the awareness of HIMATEKK ITS members towards problems in the social field in society. The title of the material in this upgrading is “Preparation for the Conditions of the Learning Environment and the Creation of Learning Media about Chemical Engineering” which was brought by Mbak Endah Sulistiawati, S.T as the Co-founder of Sahabat Belajar. Upgrading activities consist of material sessions, demonstration sessions for making learning media, along with questions and answers from each session, and followed by a briefing that explains a rough description of the implementation of teaching in post-upgrade II later accompanied by the division of learning groups. The material presented in this upgrading is about the condition of the younger siblings in Keputih Tegal Timur Baru RT.6 and the learning concepts applied by Friends of Learning to them.
Career Preparation Training
Career Preparation Training is an activity carried out by the Competency Development Department from May 13th – 15th, 2022. This activity aims to prepare the fourth-year capabilities of Chemical Engineering FTI IRS ITS students in dealing with post-campus world life. This activity consists of CVP (Curriculum Vitae Preparation) which is a material session on how to make a good and correct CV and personal branding, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) which is a material session on how to properly conduct FGD in job recruitment, and JIT (Job Interview Training), namely material sessions regarding things that need to be prepared for the interview, as well as interview simulation sessions for participants
SEE
SEE is an activity carried out by the Research and Technology Department on May 14th, 2022. This activity is carried out by delivering material or sharing experiences about scientific competitions at national and international events for all Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS in the form of face-to-face guest lectures or online. The goal is to increase interest and regeneration of scientific competitions in Chemical Engineering Students FT-IRS ITS.
LKMM TD X-XXV
LKMM TD X-XXV aims to provide training to Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS so that they have soft skills in the managerial field, especially the ability to manage an activity. This activity was carried out by Student Resource Development on May 14th, 2022. This activity is in the form of managerial training that hones soft skills that focus on the management of an activity. This activity consists of delivering material through lectures and discussions with presenters, simulations, and providing post-training activities as an implementation of participant learning during the LKMM-TD.
EEC
EEC is an activity carried out by Entrepreneurship Development with 4 sessions, the first session on May 14th, 2022, the second session on May 17th, 2022, the third session on May 21th, 2022, and the fourth session on May 29th – 30th 2022. The purpose of holding this activity is to form Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS who want to be entrepreneurs. This activity is carried out with entrepreneurship training for Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS to produce students who want to be entrepreneurs
Internal Meeting
The Internal Meeting is a coordination forum between the directors of HIMATEKK ITS and the Chemical Engineering Student Organization FT-IRS ITS Facilitating coordination between the Directors of HIMATEKK and student organizations in Chemical Engineering FT-IRS ITS which was carried out by the Internal Affairs Department on May 9th, 2022. The purpose of this activity is In order to create harmony as a support for the success of the activities of both parties.
Sharing Session
Sharing Session Magang is an activity carried out by the Competency Development Department on May 27th, 2022. A series of sharing sessions aimed at providing insight into hard skills and soft skills as well as the application of chemical engineering knowledge needed in the professional world of Chemical Engineering for all Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS in the form of face-to-face or online guest lectures. This activity is carried out with the aim to provide insight to Chemical Engineering students FT-IRS ITS related to Chemical Engineering knowledge and post-campus life in the world of work.
Orange Tutorial EAS
Orange Tutorial EAS is an activity carried out by the Education and Student Prosperity Department from May 27th – to 29th, 2022. This event held a discussion discussing elective courses accompanied by tutors from both FT-IRS ITS Chemical Engineering students and outside Chemical Engineering FT-IRS ITS students and publication of lecture materials, collection of the latest QUIZ, ETS, and EAS questions, as well as discussions about the Orange Tutorial. The main goal of this event is to Facilitate ITS HIMATEKK members who have difficulty in certain subjects to be able to discuss from practicing questions so that they can improve the student’s academic abilities.
Mentoring ISCT
Mentoring ISCT is an activity carried out by the Research and Technology Department on May 20th, 2022. This event is a training activity held for all Chemical Engineering students of FT-IRS ITS as preparation for scientific competitions accompanied by guidance from beginning to end. This event aims to improve the scientific mindset of Chemical Engineering students of FT-IRS ITS and prepare delegates for scientific competitions.
