General Affairs berisi Head of HIMATIKA ITS, dua vice head, General Secretary dan General Treasurer. General Affairs memiliki ranah kerja yang berbeda dengan departemen- departemen di HIMATIKA ITS. General Affairs memiliki fungsi yang berbeda beda di setiap strukturalnya. Di General Affairs terdapat General Secretary yang memegang tanggung jawab tertinggi dalam segala bentuk administrasi di HIMATIKA ITS. Selain itu terdapat General Treasurer yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan keuangan di HIMATIKA ITS. dan juga terdapat first vice head yang bertanggung jawab atas manajemen atau pengembangan staff serta second vice head yang bertanggung jawab dalam manajemen atau pengembangan organisasi. dan terdapat Head of HIMATIKA ITS yang memegang tanggung jawab penuh dalam segala bentuk aktivitas atau kegiatan di HIMATIKA ITS. Jadi segala bentuk operasional di HIMATIKA seperti administrasi, keuangan, pengembangan organisasi maupun staff merupakan tanggung jawab dari General Affairs. Oleh Karena itu peran General Affairs di HIMATIKA ITS sangat penting.
Olimpiade Matematika ITS (OMITS) merupakan event terbesar yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Matematika ITS. Selama lebih dari 15 tahun, HIMATIKA ITS telah menyelenggarakan olimpiade matematika tingkat nasional dengan total jumlah peserta hingga saat ini mencapai lebih dari 20.000 peserta yang berasal dari seluruh Indonesia. OMITS juga sudah mempunyai banyak prestasi dan penghargaan, antara lain pernah meraih rekor MURI atas prestasi Penyelenggara Pengujian Kubus Ajaib bersifat Dinamis Bergerak pada OMITS 2007, hingga OMITS 10TH yang mampu menarik animo peserta di seluruh Indonesia hingga mencapai lebih dari 10.000 peserta. OMITS bertekad untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional berdasarkan UUD 1945 yaitu meningkatkan kecerdasan dan keterampilan, mempertinggi budi pekerti, memperkuat kepribadian, serta mempertebal semangat kebangsaan cinta tanah air. Sehingga pendidikan nasional dapat menghasilkan manusia berkualitas yang dapat membangun diri sendiri serta bersama-sama bertanggung jawab atas pembangunan bangsa baik secara fisik maupun mental.
Media and Information Department merupakan departemen yang bergerak dalam bidang branding dan pemberian informasi kegiatan melalui media komunikasi dan informasi HIMATIKA ITS guna meningkatkan citra positif dan eksistensi HIMATIKA ITS. Selain itu, MEDFO juga bertugas untuk mengadakan kegiatan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas serta minat anggota HIMATIKA ITS dalam bidang media dan informasi. MEDFO mempunyai tagline yaitu “We Always MEDFOr U” karena kami selalu siap sedia untukmu <3.
Applied Science yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai ASCI merupakan departemen yang bergerak dalam pengembangan potensi keahlian mahasiswa pada bidang karya tulis ilmiah, olimpiade matematika dan/atau statistika, serta seputar dunia programming yang berbasis kurikulum, kontinu, komprehensif, dan aplikatif. Tak hanya itu, ASCI juga memiliki peranan dalam menjaga kondusifitas iklim keilmiahan serta menjadi fasilitator. Tujuannya agar mahasiswa termotivasi dan memiliki semangat serta kepercayaan diri atas keilmuan matematika yang dimiliki sehingga tetap partisipatif pada ajang perlombaan atau memiliki sensibilitas yang baik dalam industri terkait.
SW yang merupakan singkatan dari Student Welfare bertanggung jawab dalam pemenuhan fasilitas akademik, finansial, dan keprofesian. Departemen ini merupakan tangan kanan pihak birokrasi mengenai penyaluran informasi kepada mahasiswa. Segala informasi yang berkaitan dengan kesejahteraan mahasiswa akan diolah sebelum kemudian disampaikan kepada mahasiswa dengan tampilan yang lebih menarik. Berbagai pelatihan dan workshop juga diselenggarakan oleh SW sebagai bentuk pemenuhan kebutuhan mahasiswa terkait persiapan pasca kampus dan penunjang akademik. Meskipun terkesan sangat serius, SW cukup dikenal dekat dengan mahasiswa terutama dengan slogannya “SWayang mahasiswa”.
Social Development atau SOCDEV ini departemen yang membantu mengembangkan kegiatan sosial bermasyarakat di HIMATIKA ITS sebagai wadah pengembangan nilai sosial yang ada. SOCDEV bergerak di bidang pengembangan masyarakat, terutama di bidang sosial, pendidikan, kesehatan dan penginfoan mengenai isu-isu sosial. Di SOCDEV kita bisa belajar bareng bareng gimana cara mengelola suatu kegiatan yang terjun langsung ke masyarakat, dari menerima dan berbagi langsung.
INAF singkatan dari Internal Affairs adalah departemen di HIMATIKA ITS yang bertanggung jawab dalam terkait internal HIMATIKA dan juga terkait kajian strategis yang membahas isu-isu internal maupun eksternal. Kalo mau tau asiknya departemen kami, sabi stalk akun instagram kami @gainafgaasik.
Departemen Student Resources Development (SRD) merupakan departemen yang bergerak di bidang manajerial. Departemen ini bertanggung jawab akan pengembangan sumber daya anggota HIMATIKA ITS. Upaya pengembangan ini meliputi memberikan dan menyediakan wadah diskusi berupa pelatihan untuk meningkatkan ilmu manajerial. Tak hanya itu, departemen SRD juga melakukan pendelegasian dan pemantauan anggota HIMATIKA ITS dalam pengembangan di luar HIMATIKA ITS. Sebagai upaya untuk mengenali potensi dan minat anggota HIMATIKA ITS, departemen SRD melakukan pemetaan minat dan potensi sesuai dengan Pola Pengembangan Sumber Daya Mahasiswa (PPSDM) HIMATIKA ITS. Adapun program kerja dan agenda yang dimiliki oleh departemen SRD adalah Latihan Keterampilan Manajemen Mahasiswa Tingkat Dasar (LKMM TD), Leadership and Organization Management Training (LOMT), Pemetaan, Pemantauan, dan Pendelegasian. Untuk itu, departemen SRD termasuk departemen yang sangat menarik dan seru.
External Affairs atau biasa disingkat menjadi EXA adalah departemen yang membantu dalam mengembangkan iklim internasionalisasi dan menjalin hubungan baik dengan para stakeholder. EXA berjalan dengan berbagai kegiatannya seperti Company Visit, English Conference, Halo Alumni, dan lainnya untuk mencapai misi-misi tersebut.
Entrepreneur Development atau ENDEV adalah departemen yang mengembangkan semangat kewirausahaan dan memberdayakan mahasiswa di bidang ini. Melalui berbagai program dan workshop, kami tumbuhkan mentalitas wirausaha, dan dorong kolaborasi dan pertukaran ide dalam lingkungan yang inklusif. Selain itu, kami juga mencari dana untuk kebutuhan organisasi agar misi kami dapat berlanjut. Penasaran kan kita jual apa?? yuk pantau terus infonya di @himatika_its.
Sport and art development atau SAD adalah departemen yang memberikan wadah untuk perkembangan minat dan bakat mahasiswa dalam bidang olahraga dan seni. SAD mempunyai beberapa kegiatan, seperti Latihan Rutin Olahraga dan Seni, Kompetisi olahraga dan seni antar angkatan, Pendelegasiaan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan atau kompetisi olahraga dan/atau seni, dan pendataan minat dan bakat dalam bidang olahraga dan seni yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa.
